Hello! I’m Jamie Lopez.

An anti-diet dietitian helping people make confident, healthy food choices.

I know what it feels like to be overwhelmed with trendy diets and restrictive food rules. The stresses of trying to live a “healthy” lifestyle without sacrificing the flavors you love.

That's why I started Jamie Lopez Nutrition to provide nutrition counseling and help others develop the mindful eating and meal planning skills to tune into your body’s natural cues and self-nourish according to its specific needs.

My Mindful Meal Planning programs, founded on the principles of Intuitive Eating and Health at Every Size, will transform the way you think about your daily food choices. Through 1-on-1 sessions and skill-building exercises, I help my clients cultivate robust eating habits and self-care behaviors that make lasting improvements to their overall health and wellbeing. Behaviors such as maintaining a balanced diet, practicing body acceptance, engaging in regular movement, and stress management.

My mission is to teach others that ANY food could fit into a balanced diet. That you don’t have to shame yourself every time you crave sweets or eat fast food. After working with me, my clients are able to let go of external food rules and follow their internal cues of hunger, satisfaction, and fullness towards a path of regaining trust with their bodies. They are able to see all foods and body types as inherently good and shed the negative stigmas created by weight-centric healthcare. Most importantly, I help my clients learn to enjoy food again.

Jamie Lopez is a NYC/NJ based registered dietitian nutritionist and nutrition therapist who's passionate about food, science and mental health. Jamie blends mindful eating with a non-diet, weight-inclusive approach into her virtual private practice. Jamie completed her Dietetic Internship and received her Masters of Science degree in Nutrition and Food Studies at New York University.
